Last week’s InforSalud event proved to be a great opportunity to learn about what others are doing in the industry, the needs of the industry itself, and of course to highlight what Nuubo is doing as well. Nuubo had its own booth set up with a live demo showing how seamlessly the Nuubo platform works – one of the Nuubo staff wore the simple undergarment with the nMote sensor, while everyone could see the real-time stats (including the ECG, activity index, pulse, and angle (standing, laying, etc)) on a computer screen. People were also able to view how a doctor has the ability to view a patient’s information from anywhere, via the web, and analyze the data over time.

Dr. Rafael Rodríguez de Sanabria Gil, a member of Nuubo’s Medical Board, also gave a presentation at the conference highlighting how Nuubo is addressing the medical issues being faced today. With cardiac diseases being the number one cause of death, and the costs to treat it being incredibly high, Nuubo not only helps prevent the problem, but does so in a cost effective manner, all while improving the quality of life for the patient. Dr. Rodríguez is the Associate Cardiology Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and is the honory President of the Valencian Institute called Pro-Corazon (Pro-Heart).  He is also a professor, researcher and member of other bio-medical/technology projects.

Nuubo’s booth, although somewhat hidden, saw constant traffic and tremendous interest in the product. It was a very successful event and we look forward to participating again in coming years.
